Always wake up with gratitude and purpose. Start your day waking up your body and flowing with gentle yoga to help set your intention for how you want your day to go. Not setting your intention for the day is like getting on your bike with no direction. Keep an equanimous mind (which is “spacious stillness of mind,” within which we can remain connected to others and all that happens around us, while remaining free of our conditioned habit of grasping at the pleasant and pushing away the unpleasant). Always make an effort to give yourself 20 minutes everyday to find peace and calm through yoga.
